Day 3 of Stamos Blackmail Trial

It’s the third day of the John Stamos extortion trial, and the prosecution has rested its case.

The extortion trial is being held in U.S. District Court in Marquette.

24-year-old Allison Coss and 31-year-old Scott Sippola are charged with three crimes, including conspiracy.

Prosecutors accuse them of trying to get $680,000 from the actor in exchange for compromising photographs.

Coss and Sippola were arrested in December.

Stamos testified for more than three hours yesterday.

And today, more witnesses were called to the stand in the government’s case before the trial was turned over to the defense team.

After testimony from defense witnesses, the case will go to the 12–person jury.

The trial is expected to continue through tomorrow.
