Snow Removal Business Booming
The snow that’s still falling may bring mixed emotions to many of us.
But it’s good news for some people whose jobs depend on it.
Those in the snow removal business may have had a late start this season but they’re making up for it now.
We didn’t see any sustained white until well into December.
But for those like snowplower Craig Tasson of Ishpeming, there’s been constant snow to get rid of.
He says one of the biggest challenges when plowing is traffic on well-traveled streets.
And the plows won’t get a break soon, either.
The National Weather Service had a lake effect snow advisory for the Marquette area until 7 tonight.
They’ve also issued a hazardous weather outlook through tonight.
Throughout the U.P., snow accumulation is up to 4 inches.
