Downstate Man Attacked at K.I. Sawyer
Police are looking for as many as 4 teens who assaulted a downstate man at K.I. Sawyer on Friday.
State Police from the Negaunee Post talked that night at Marquette General with a 29-year-old Grand Rapids man.
He claimed to have been attacked in Forsyth Township earlier that night.
Police say the victim was walking on Stratofort, near the intersection with Panther, when one subject demanded items of value from him.
When the man walked away, he said he was attacked and took a severe laceration to his wrist.
The 3 to 4 subjects are said to be 14-to-15-year-old white boys, 5’6″ to 5’8″ tall with small to medium builds.
3 were wearing dark knit hats.
One subject was described as having dark hair, a thin goatee, a black hooded jacket, blue jeans and snowmobile boots.
A second suspect is said to have brown hair with a short ponytail.
