More Flu-Related School Closures

The schools that closed in the first wave of flu concern last week have re-opened by now.

But a second wave of shutdowns is still going on tonight for both entire districts and individual schools across the region.

Late this afternoon, the Hancock schools decided to close for the rest of the week due to sick students there.

The Munising schools, and Father Marquette Elementary and Middle Schools in Marquette, are also closed for the rest of the week.

Superior Central in Eben and the Ontonagon schools are both closed until Thursday.

The Menominee schools were closed today because of flu, but they should be open again tomorrow morning.
