Walkaway Prisoner Captured
The Baraga Max inmate who escaped yesterday by walking away from his work detail is behind bars again tonight.
34-year-old John Wilson got caught a little after 10 last night near Globe Mine Road in Painesdale.
He’d walked away from his work crew at Camp Kitwen at about noontime.
Wilson is being held right now at Marquette Branch Prison.
He’s already behind bars for a wide range of convictions, including home invasion, uttering and publishing and resisting or obstructing a police officer.
And he’s already staying locked up until at least August 2011.
If he’s also convicted of escape, he could stay in prison for another 5 years.
