Cooler Summer?

The summer season is soon wrapping up for many U.P. residents, but many can’t help but wonder if the U.P. really had a summer this year.

There was definitely some cooler and warmer days this summer and surprisingly the month of August overall was average. Based on the variable temps ranging from below average the first and last few week’s of the month, there were some warmer days as well. From the 6th to the 17th, August temps were well above 80 degrees. Although the summer has had it’s cool moments, there’s some good news for the beginning of September. There’s a thirty three percent chance of temps above the average. Kolbus says this weekends temps will be lower than the average, with tomorrow in the fifties and Sunday in the sixties.
