Marquette General Opens New Clinic
Patients who need health care for minor injuries or basic health conditions will now be able to get treatment a lot faster.
A Marquette General FastCare clinic opened today in the Marquette ShopKo store on Washington Street near the 41 bypass.
The clinic is a retail health clinic exclusive to MGH and ShopKo, designed to be accessible, convenient and less expensive for patients.
The FastCare clinic provides health care services for anyone who could use some basic care.
It’ll treat minor conditions like sore throats, sinus infections and allergies.
Peggy Schram of Marquette General Health System is hoping to duplicate the success of the Escanaba clinic.
The cost for each visit is $45, and most insurance plans will cover it.
