Pickup truck fire spreads to Gladstone home
A pickup truck fire spread to an attached garage in Gladstone early Saturday morning.
Officers from Gladstone Public Safety say the incident happened shortly before 1:00 a.m. at 705 Ketcham Street. Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke coming from the attached garage and the house’s eves. They were able to extinguish the blaze. Upon further investigation, officers say they determined the source of the flames to be a 2000 Ford pickup.
A ventilation fan was used to clear smoke from the house. No injuries were reported.
Gladstone Public Safety and volunteer firefighters were assisted at the scene by the Escanaba Township Fire Department and Escanaba Public Safety.
