Physical Therapy business puts down roots in the Country Village
ISHPEMING — Active Physical Therapy has rented a building there for the last three and a half years. Recently, management decided that renting was no longer an option for them.
The physical therapy business became owners of the building February 1st, 2017. They held a ribbon cutting Thursday afternoon to celebrate the occasion.
Active Physical Therapy sees approximately 140-160 patients five days a week. They offer a number of different rehab services for sports related issues as well as general physical therapy.
General Manager Dave Aro says staying in the Country Village was an easy decision.
“Our company is very, very, very dedicated to the City of Ishpeming and the West End,” said Aro. “We wanted to make a footprint here and be able to be a positive part of what’s kind of a renewal in the Country Village.”
In addition to their work at the Country Village, certified athletic trainers from Active Physical Therapy provide assistance at athletic contests to schools on the west end of the city.
