The Lions are ready to hit the books
HANCOCK — It’s back to school already for students at Finlandia University in Hancock.
Students entering the school this fall checked–in today by meeting with financial aid advisors and get their student accounts. They also made sure everything was finalized with their registration before heading up to the campus. New programs this year, including the expansion of the athletic department and the addition of football, have led to one of the largest incoming classes ever for the university.
“We’re very excited about the class coming in— a lot of students. The final numbers aren’t set, those will be upcoming up here in the next few days but we are very excited about the amount of students we have coming in and those coming to Finlandia this year,” said Finlandia University Director of Admissions Travis Hanson.
Orientation for students is Friday.
