Hancock students tape teachers to the wall
What’s the craziest thing you can do with duct tape? ABC Ten’s Keweenaw Bureau Reporter Rick Allen shows that it can help teachers ‘hang out’ with their students.
Teachers sometimes say they would like to be a fly on the wall to watch their class. Now they got their wish.
Hancock Middle School students participated in a number of contests this month…one was to raise money for 31 Backpacks by selling PAWS.
By selling the paws…students earned rolls of duct tape to tape their teacher to the wall.
31 Backpacks is a charity that helps feed children who normally receive free or reduced lunches. Often times when they are not in school…they don’t eat. More than $550 was raised to help slip sacks of food into children’s backpacks to take home with them.
Which teacher was the first to come down? Rick couldn’t “hang around” to find out!
