Garden Tour showcases Marquette’s most beautiful gardens
Gorgeous gardens were on display in Marquette today.
The Marquette Beautification and Restoration Committee held their 27th Annual Garden Tour today. 5 hosts shared their outdoor spaces with the public.
“The Garden Tour is a great even for supporting the Beautification Society,” said Host Barbara Susorney. “It’s always nice for me to go and see other people’s works, as well as have a nice afternoon out.”
The event is the committee’s most successful fundraiser. It pays for flowers in Marquette, including on Front Street, the Front Street roundabout, the West End welcome sign, and at other spots around the city.
There was a steady stream of visitors at Susorney’s house, as well as her next-door neighbor’s, fellow host Susan Koehs.
Tickets for the event cost $10.
