Aubree’s hosting 4th annual Thanksgiving Meal event during holiday
MARQUETTE — Thanksgiving is a time where family and friends come together and enjoy each other’s company, while also being thankful for everything in their lives. One local business is helping people come together for the holiday.
Aubree’s Pizzeria & Grill is hosting their 4th annual Thanksgiving Meal event which will be offering free meals to all who come. The event is intended for anyone who doesn’t have anywhere to go for the holidays and is looking for good company and food. The event was inspired by the owner of Aubree’s who was looking for a way to help give back to the Marquette community.
“I started doing this when I was a single father and there were years that I didn’t have things to do,” explained Bryan French, Owner of Aubree’s Pizzeria and Grill. “So this is how the tradition started. We will have a full Thanksgiving meal with over 200 lbs of turkey, stuffing, mash potatoes, green beans, candied yams and I mean it’s a full meal. It is also all for free.”
The event will be from 12 pm to 4 pm at Aubree’s on Thanksgiving Day. If anyone would like to volunteer to help with serving food and other or duties you can click here.
