Two arrested in meth bust in Escanaba hotel

ESCANABA — Two people are now in custody in relation to a meth bust in Escanaba.

On Tuesday morning, authorities from the Delta County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a hotel in Escanaba, where they located a large amount of meth. Authorities also seized prescription pills, a vehicle, and cash at the scene.

A 48-year-old Munising man was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, and possession of analogs. A 29-year-old Escanaba woman was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and analogs.

Their names are being withheld, pending appearance in court.
