Strut your Mutt Charity Walk happening September 15th

MARQUETTE COUNTY — UPAWS Strut Your Mutt charitable fundraiser may just be the most fun you can have while supporting your local no-kill shelter.

This 14th annual fundraiser is a top event for UPAWS and a great day of fun for four- and two-legged participants of all ages.
The more money individuals can raise for the event, the more they can help out the shelter pets.
When people turn in pledges they have a chance to win some great prizes at the event.
There are some unique prizes for the top pledge raisers as well.
The event will also include dog contests (look-alike, pet tricks, best costume), a great raffle and pet-themed and people vendors.

“It is an annual event and a family event,” explained Ann Brownell, Community Outreach & Volunteer Coordinator at UPAWS. “It is what they call the biggest dog party of the year. People look forward to it and we hope they come out!”

The fun is open to everyone with or without a dog and the vent itself is on September 15th from 10 am to 1 pm.
