Riverside Auto Group in Marquette opens new dealership site

MARQUETTE — Riverside Auto Group in Marquette had completed its building and they are now operational.

The goal was to update and upgrade their facility from the old location and to have a more central location for patrons. The whole process started last year in August and officially started moving in by July of this year.

During the moving process the company not only had help from its own employees from other parts of the U.P. but also from the community.

“We couldn’t have done it without all the help from all of the employees,” said Tim Dawson, General Manager of Riverside Auto Group Marquette. “We also couldn’t have done it without the help of employees from our other locations such as Escanaba. Everybody pitched in, the owners pitched in and even people in our community came to just do driving for us and all came to pitch in and help out. It was a very successful move and we are very proud of that.”

The dealership hopes with the new location that they will be allow easy accessibility. They are also excited to utilize the upgrades made to the service bays which also include new body shop work space.
