Armed robbery in Pembine and attempted robbery in Escanaba connected, according to law enforcement

ESCANABA — After meeting with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, investigators from the Escanaba Public Safety Department, Delta County Sheriff’s Office, Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, and Michigan State Police have determined that the armed robbery in Pembine, Wisconsin on July 8th and attempted robbery in Escanaba on July 5th are connected.

The law enforcement agencies compared similarities in the two cases, including the suspect’s profile, vehicle used to escape the scenes, as well as information not known to the public to draw this conclusion.

Looking forward, a joint operation with combined information sharing has been coordinated to help identify the suspect.
