Marquette kicks off “Music on Third”
MARQUETTE — Marquette is never short of live music, and today was no exception.
Musicians and music lovers alike gathered on Third Street in Marquette earlier today, for Music on Third, which had musical acts for all to enjoy.
“It’s a great community event,” said Troy Graham, local music artist and performer. “There’s a lot of people that may not get out all the time that would come out to see this, because it’s a very cool thing. There’s people playing at different businesses. It’s an opportunity for kids and adults to have the same amount of fun in the same place, with a family fun atmosphere. It’s great.”
Music wasn’t the only thing for people to enjoy; local businesses set up drinks and snacks, as well as anything else people might enjoy.
“Music on Third” happens every third Thursday of the summer, between the months of June and September.
The next one is July 18th at 6 p.m.
