Man arrested for murder in Munising suspicious death investigation
MUNISING — At approximately 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon, the Munising City Police Department arrested Jason David Sadowski on a warrant issued by the Alger County Prosecutor’s Office on the charge of Homicide – Open Murder. This arrest stems from the suspicious death investigation on 5/30/2019.
Sadowski is currently lodged at the Alger County Sheriff’s Department where he is being held on a no bond warrant. Homicide – Open Murder is a felony with a maximum penalty of life in prison.
Sadowski was previously arrested for solicitation to commit murder, two counts of torture, two counts of unlawful imprisonment and two counts of assault by strangulation where he was convicted and sentenced to 40-80 years in prison. After an appeal process he was acquitted of all charges.
