Flower shops in Marquette preparing for Mothers Day
MARQUETTE — Nothing says “Happy Mothers Day” like a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
Sons and daughters everywhere are gearing up for this special holiday.
Forsbergs flower shop in downtown Marquette is preparing for hundreds of orders for one of their busiest holidays.
The flower shop started preparing for the holiday back in November of 2018 to start placing orders for their special products.
LouAnn Balding’s mom opened Forsberg flower shop 48 years ago; Balding says it’s important to remember all the moms in the community.
“My mom started it and I am the second generation, my daughter is the third generation she is the new leaf. That is kind of what this business is all about; it’s all about generations,”
They are still taking orders for Mothers Day and will start delivering flowers for the holiday starting tomorrow.
