Girl Scout cookie season returns with a new cookie flavor
MARQUETTE COUNTY — For some people it’s the most wonderful time of the year.
Girl Scout cookie season will return on Friday, January 18th, with a new cookie flavor.
In addition to the classic favorites like Thin Mints or Samoas, they’re adding a sweet new addition.
It’s a gluten free caramel chocolate chip cookie with a bit of sea salt that will make your taste buds dance.
The Northern Lights Area troop leader says the cookie sales program helps to teach kids essential life skills.
“It’s a learning opportunity for the girls, they learn decision making, business ethics and customer service. Just watching the girls in my troop grow and change, especially at the cookie booths you see their little personalities coming out,” said Wendy True, Troop Leader / Service area cookie manager.
The end of February into early March they will start selling door to door and start their annual cookie booths.
