Ishpeming Burger King closed after 40 years
ISHPEMING — After 40 years of service, another Burger King has closed in Marquette County.
The Burger King on US-41 in Ishpeming is officially closed.
A sign was posted on the doors that states the restaurant was closed as of Jan. 1st.
The sign reads that the restaurant thanks its customers for their patronage, and directs them to the new Burger King in Marquette Township.
This is the second Burger King to close in Marquette County in the past year.
The other closing happened at the location on Washington Street in Marquette when it moved to the new location in Marquette Township in May of 2018.
