Indiana man injured in Mackinac County motorcycle crash
MORAN TOWNSHIP — Troopers from the Michigan State Police St. Ignace and Sault Ste. Marie posts investigated a motorcycle crash that took place on US-2 near Boulevard Drive in Moran Township of Mackinac County.
The investigation shows that the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on US-2 when it was struck by a SUV. The driver of the motorcycle, 62 year old Timothy Brow of Crawfordsville Indiana, was transported to the Mackinac Straits Health System in St. Ignace for treatment of multiple injuries.
He was later transported downstate for further treatment. The driver of the SUV, a 67 year old man from Rogers city, was not injured in the crash.
Initial investigation shows that the driver of the SUV pulled onto US-2 into the path of the motorcycle.
Weather and Alcohol were not believed to be factors in the crash.
This crash is still under investigation.
