Delft hosting a tasty competition
MARQUETTE — Two companies got together tonight and are throwing a little friendly competition together in Downtown Marquette.
The Delft Bistro and Black Rocks Brewery are throwing an event to get the community together to enjoy good food and craft beer. They are even putting on a slider eating contest.
“It’s going to be a lot of fun. There are about ten people in each group; we are going to have one winner from each group and there is going to be two groups. The sliders are pretty big, so I don’t know how many they are going to get down in 7 minutes time but we are guessing five, six seven maybe? We will see,” said Tom Vear.
This event is the first of its kind in the bistro, but Tom has plans to make this into an annual event at the Delft Bistro.
