Robotics challenges young minds in Escanaba
ESCANABA — Today was the first day of the Robotics Competition.
Escanaba High School host their first Robotics competition where teams from all over the state come to compete. For the past 6 weeks these high school competitors have been spending countless hours creating their robot for this weekend event.
“Getting out there and doing our best. We’ve done a lot of work on our arm this year for our robot and I want to see it in action,” said Escanaba High School Junior, Charlie Tackman.
“We’ve been practicing, it seems to have worked pretty well so far. You’re getting out there, you’re seeing your hard work pay off. It’s a really cool thing to see,” Tackman added
The Robotics Competition is going on today and tomorrow at Escanaba High School.
