2nd Annual Blind Groundhog Craft Beer Sampling to be held Friday
MARQUETTE — Tomorrow is groundhog day, and it shouldn’t take a genius to know that we’re most likely going to have 6 more weeks of winter up here. So we might as well make the most of it.
This year, craft beer lovers are invited to the Community Foundation of Marquette County’s second annual Blind Groundhog Beer Sampling at the Marquette Regional History Center. Beers from Cognition, Upper Hand and more will be featured, but with no labels or names.
“We’re inviting everyone to wear their buffalo plaid, and their stormy chromers, and just come out and enjoy tasting some beers with us,” said Marquette Area Fund Committee Member Trish Davis.
The funds generated will go to charities and non–profits all across Marquette County.
“Because this is a Marquette area fund, the funds are specifically designated to those non–profits exclusively in Marquette. So if you want to have a good time and support community non–profits, come on down and join us tomorrow night,” said CFMC CEO Gail Anthony.
Tickets are $40 in advance, and $50 at the door. There are tickets for $16 for those who plan to be a designated driver.
