2-vehicle accident in Osceola Township
OSCEOLA TOWNSHIP — The Houghton County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a 2-vehicle traffic crash with injuries on Highway M-26 near Airport Park Road in Osceola Township just after 4:00pm on Thursday.
A vehicle traveling south on Airport Park Road driven by a 58-year-old Macomb, Michigan man was unable to stop at a posted sign, and was struck by a vehicle traveling west on M-26 driven by a 28-year-old Houghton woman.
Both vehicles then struck parked tractors in the Wards Outdoor Equipment and Repair parking lot. Both drivers were injured and transported to U.P. Portage by friends and family.
The accident remains under investigation.
