Michigan Tech nationally ranked by Wall Street Journal, Times Higher Education

HOUGHTON — Michigan Technological University has been ranked in the top fifteen percent of colleges and universities nationwide, according to the Wall Street Journal. On Wednesday, Times Higher Education 2018 college rankings listed MTU at 155 of 1,054 institutions. Among 275 Midwest colleges and universities, Michigan Tech ranked 33rd.

Times Higher Education is a weekly magazine on higher education, published in the United Kingdom by the Times of London, which coordinates with the WSJ.

According to the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education website, the rankings are based on performance indicators designed to answer the questions that matter most to students and their families.
