MARQUETTE — An embezzlement case against a Marquette man has been bound over to Marquette County Circuit Court.
Brice Burge, 29, is charged with embezzlement from a non-profit or charitable organization and stealing a financial transaction device without consent. Burge was arrested in March after an investigation by the Marquette Police Department.
He is accused of these crimes in relation to his time as general manager of the Marquette Mutineers hockey team. Burge faces up to four-years in prison if he’s convicted.
There’s no word on when he will be arraigned in circuit court.
