Man arrested on felonious assault, property damage charges
IRON RIVER — A 35-year-old man faces two counts of felonious assault and one count of malicious destruction of property after what police are calling “an incident” on Saturday.
According to the Iron River Police Department, Johan Dylan Harju of Ironwood attempted to assault two victims with his vehicle before leaving the scene. Lac Vieux Desert Tribal Police located his vehicle traveling west on US-2 near Watersmeet.
Officers with the tribal police stopped the suspect’s vehicle and detained him. He was transported back to Iron River where he was arrested.
The man is currently lodged at the Iron County Jail.
