Snow expected to hinder search for missing hunter
TAPIOLA — The search continues for 71-year-old Rodney Granroth, the Dollar Bay man who went missing November 17th while hunting in Tapiola.
Michael Neiger, who heads Michigan Backcountry Search and Rescue, says the weather- a snowstorm that could dump more than two feet of snow in the search area- will make the search for Granroth more difficult. A number of local and federal resources have helped in the search for Neiger.
Bloodhounds were even brought in last week by authorities. If you know where Rodney Granroth is or have any information related to his disappearance, you’re asked to contact the Houghton County Sheriff’s Office at (906) 482-0055.
