Holiday Punch Card Campaign offering prizes to participants

ISHPEMING — With the holiday season now upon us, many people are beginning to shop for Christmas gifts. The Greater Ishpeming Negaunee Chamber of Commerce is giving shoppers a chance to win big just by shopping.

From November 1st through December 20th, the chamber is holding its annual Holiday Punch Card Campaign. You get one entry into a drawing for every $50 you spend at a chamber business.

In order to win, you must take your receipts to the GINCC office in Ishpeming to get registered. Last year, the chamber was able to track more than $39,000 dollars worth of cash spent at member businesses as a result of the campaign.

“If people have any questions, we go through all of the receipts with everyone, so we can sort those out for them. All they have to do is just save their receipts and remember to save their receipts while they’re out doing their Christmas shopping,” said Ashley Geist, assistant director at the GINCC.

All receipts must be turned into the chamber by 5:00 p.m. on December 20th.The prize drawing will be held on Wednesday, December 21st.
