Local DQ celebrates #NationalCoffeeDay
MARQUETTE — In honor of national coffee day, Dairy Queen decided to change things up and serve something warm to the public.
All day today, free small coffees were offered to anyone who wanted to stop by the Marquette location. Iced coffee and frappes were also available for a small fee to customers, with a flavor to match any craving.
These flavors range from caramel chip to midnight mocha and much more.
Dairy Queen was happy to participate in this national day and see friendly faces stop in from around the community.
“In our small community there’s a lot of coffee shops and things like that, but with places around town there are a lot of option to go and get your drinks and there’s a lot of options for frappes and iced coffees but really it’s kind of special thing because we have them for a really good sale,” said Dairy Queen Assistant Manager, Jessila Johnson.
Johnson also mentioned that celebrating a day like national coffee day is very important since it’s such an important part of a lot of people’s lives.
Dairy Queen also has a daily happy hour every day of the week between two and four with discounted drinks.
