U.P. bike shop holds free art day
MARQUETTE — A local bike shop held a special event Tuesday, allowing children and their families to express themselves through art.
Revolutions Bike Store in downtown Marquette invited anyone to stop by their store and create anything with the free art supplies offered. This day isn’t the first art related event that Revolutions has held, once a month a similar day is held with varying art themes.
“Free junk, bike art day is a time when kids can come in and use our shop and we supply all the art supplies for them like paints, construction paper, and a few junk bike items like bike seats and handle bars,” said Revolutions Co-Founder, Mark Hall.
Hall mentioned that he is happy to create these events that allow people to create art for free. At the end of the month, Revolutions will be having a unique buffet with all the foods being dehydrated snacks that would typically be brought on a camping trip.
