Drug suspect sentenced to jail time
SAULT STE. MARIE — An out of state man arrested on multiple felony counts last May has been sentenced in Chippewa County Circuit Court.
Twenty year–old Randall Parks of Key West, Florida was sentenced to a year in jail with credit for time served, eighteen months probation and nine hundred dollars in court fines and costs.
Parks pleaded guilty to one count of delivery, manufacture of a controlled substance, less than fifty grams and one count of assaulting, obstructing or resisting a police officer.
Members of the Tri–County Drug Enforcement Taskforce arrested Parks for selling heroin to an undercover officer.
