Students and staff on alert after threatening bathroom message
CRIVITZ — School officials were on high alert Tuesday afternoon after a bomb scare.
According to the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, sheriff’s deputies and police were notified of the threat at Crivitz High School just after 3:00 P.M. A teacher had discovered a bomb threat written on a bathroom wall.
Sheriff’s deputies began investigating the matter. A 15 year old male was taken into custody for making the threat and will be referred to juvenile authorities. It was determined that there was no true threat and students and staff were permitted to resume normal activities.
