TOGO’S celebrates 50 years
Birthday celebrations are always lots of fun but when you’re a submarine shop celebrating 50 years, it’s an outdoor celebration and the entire community is invited. TOGO’S 50th anniversary party took off today at the Marquette store on North Third St. The celebration included lip smacking fun for everyone. Games for kids, including a bounce house as well as free cupcakes, drinks, snacks and raffle prizes.
“I think the pride in the product that we have had for 50 years is great. We are really appreciative, we try and do a lot to give back, donating to local charities, we thought that 50 years deserves a big party,” said Be Stoll, General Manager, TOGO’S.
“We always pick up TOGO’s when we go on a picnic, when we go canoeing we bring them with us, we’ve been doing this since we were in college. Every Friday, my wife would bring me TOGO’s, it was wonderful, I always looked forward to it. It was our treat,” said Douglas Pearson, Ishpeming.
The celebration included the Double Trouble DJ’s and live music from “Everything Under the Sun.”
