Norway Elementary School wins concert from program that promotes healthy living
A Dickinson County Elementary School has won a statewide contest that combines learning nutrition with singing and dancing.
Jump with Jill will be performing at Norway Elementary School in June.
The educational program promotes eating healthy and exercising through singing, dancing, and catchy tunes to teach kids the importance of a healthy life style.
To win the contest, Norway students had to practice dance moves to show that breakfast is an important meal.
Norway Elementary School won the contest with help from Michigan’s Dairy Farmers and Milk Processors and the United Dairy Industry of Michigan’s Fuel Up to Play 60 Program.
In addition to a concert, the school will also receive Jump with Jill educational materials.
