MTU students pull all-nighter
Michigan Tech students are in for a long night…not of studying, but of building. ABC Ten’s Keweenaw Bureau Reporter Rick Allen has a preview of Winter Carnival’s All-Nighter.
The night Michigan Tech students have waited all winter for has arrived. The Winter Carnival’s All-Nighter is one of the biggest parties of the year. Students have only hours left to complete their month-long snow statues while others will work on smaller one-night statues.
Judging of all the snow statues takes place after 8am tomorrow morning. Student organizations are going to be serving up a variety of foods and playing games to keep warm through the night.
And if you’re thinking the recent deep freeze that has taken hold of the Copper Country will chill out Michigan Tech students during the All-Nighter… there’s little chance of that happening.
