Isle Royale Ranger III celebration
Isle Royale is giving people the chance to win a free cruise aboard the Ranger 3.
The offer is to celebrate the installation of the ballast treatment system on the ship that will aid in protecting Lake Superior from invasive species.
The National Park Service and Isle Royale National Park will be holding a dedication ceremony on Thursday…June 28th…at the park headquarters in Houghton.
The event will include music and special speakers followed by the free cruise on the Keweenaw Waterway.
Entries can be made by email, stopping by the Houghton Visitor Center, or by mailing a request to Isle Royale National Park.
Each request will be limited to two names per household and must be received by June 18th.
The drawing will take place the following day at 10:00am.
Winners will be notified by phone or email.
