Two Injured in Traffic Accident
Wintry road conditions this morning may have contributed to an accident that extensively damaged two vehicles and injured two Lake Linden women.
Troopers from the Calumet post of the Michigan state police say it happened just before 7:50 this morning.
Lorna Linja was southbound on Boot-Jack road near rice lake road when she lost control of her car on the slushy roadway.
She slid sideways and crossed the center-line into the path of a vehicle driven by Teresa Frankovich.
Linja was transported to Aspirius Keweenaw hospital.
Frankovich was treated and released.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
