Woman accused of murder formally charged in court

CRYSTAL FALLS — The woman accused of murder in Iron County has been formally charged on multiple felony counts.

Thirty-three year old Kelly Cochran arrived at the Iron County Jail late Monday. She was arraigned in Iron County District Court on the following charges:

-Homicide, open murder for the death of Christopher Karl Regan
-Second-degree home invasion
-Conspiracy to commit dead bodies – disinterment & mutilation
-Concealing the death of an individual
-Lying to a police officer
-Accessory after the fact to a felony

She pleaded not guilty to all of the charges. Cochran declined an attorney.

She wishes to represent herself with assistance from a public defender. Cochran is due back in court for a preliminary exam on June 6th.
