MARQUETTE — Few details are being released, however ABC 10 was the only news department present this morning when police blocked off Division St. near Mesnard St after a reported stabbing.

Marquette Police Detectives could be seen gathering evidence from several locations. The Marquette Fire Department and two Marquette General ambulances were on the scene around 3:15 this morning.

Police were investigating the second floor of one home, and behind another, just across the street and about a block south. That second residence apparently had a shed in the rear – and police were taking pictures and other evidence in an around that shed.

Police were seen taking photos where the incident apparently occurred. Marquette Police said  more information may be forthcoming later in the day. There is no word on the condition of the victim or victims.
