Man arrested after yearlong B&E investigation
MARQUETTE — Police arrested a man on home invasion after a yearlong investigation.
Forsyth Township Police Officers report they arrested 33-year old Samuel Robert Duff on a three count felony warrant. The warrant was the result of a yearlong investigation by the Forsyth Township Police Department into a Camp Breaking and Entering that occurred on Little Shag Lake in Forsyth Township.
Duff is charged with first degree home invasion – a 20 year and $5,000 felony, receiving and concealing firearms – a 10 year and $5,000 felony, and larceny of firearms – a five year and $2,500 felony.
He was arrested after Marquette City Police responded to a tip that he was seen at U.P. Health System – Marquette.
Duff is lodged at the Marquette County Jail on a 10% of $40,000 bond.
