This Sunday, you have a special opportunity to show your appreciation for Lake Superior.

The Marquette Maritime Museum is hosting Lake Superior Day.

Learn about conservation, invasive species, the rich history of the lake, and much more.

The museum is working together with the Children’s Museum, Lake Superior Watershed Partnership, and other organizations to celebrate.

“Lake Superior Day is important to Marquette because it helps us remember how everything got started,” said Museum Intern Naomi Hendrickson.

Lake Superior Day is at the Marquette Maritime Museum from 1 to 4 p.m. The event is free to the public.
