Book Clubs offered at the Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library

Dr. Suess once stated, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”

The Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library is proud to announce they have seven different book clubs offered to the public. Each club is centered on a various age group or interest.

The book clubs offered are:

  • Book Club at the Ishpeming Senior Center (for well-seasoned readers).
  • Great Lakes Great Books Club (for children in grades 4 and 5).
  • Graphic Novel Book Club (for grades 4th through 8th).
  • Young Adult Book Club (for ages 13 and older).
  • Adult Fantasy Book Club (for fantasy book lovers).
  • Adult Book Club (which showcases many different genres).
  • Adult Horror Book Club (for Spooky Readers)

Nicole Johnson, librarian at the Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library states that to her, “Book Clubs offer a unique chance for community connection over a shared interest. It is so fun to hear the various opinions on the books we read from our book club attendees and learn about other books that our patrons recommend!”

Learn more on dates the clubs will be meeting on their website of Ishpeminglibrary.info or their active ICPL Facebook Page.
