Little Parsley Farm’s deadline for membership is June 1st

MARQUETTE — A local farm just outside of the city of Marquette is hosting a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) which is a way for the community to support a local farmer.

If you are looking for healthy, fresh and local produce then becoming a member of the Little Parsley Farm may be the way to go. This is a farm sharing membership allows people to purchase a share of the farm and enjoy some of the fresh produce every week.
All of their produce is grown with no chemicals or pesticides and use only the organic method at the farm. The Little Parsley Farm owners even invite people to come check out the farm where they can get their produce.

“People can stop by, see what we are and see where their food comes from,” said, Co-Owner and Manager of Little Parsley Farm, Tensi Parsons. “This is really important to a lot of people these days. I think they really appreciate knowing where their food comes from and talking to the people who grow it and see what goes into their food. People are becoming more and more health conscious these days I think. So I think it’s important for the community to eat local, buy local and support their local farmer.”

Little Parsley Farm is close to closing their memberships for the season since the deadline is June 1st. A membership costs $20 a week and for every week you will receive a box of fresh produce.
