109th Candidates garner support prior to election
MARQUETTE — Several politicians publicly announced their support for one hundred and ninth representative candidates Sara Cambensy and Rich Rossway. It’s the final countdown until the special election for the one hundred and ninth representative.
Democrat candidate, Sara Cambensy, was publicly supported by Congressman Dan Kildee this past Sunday as well as one hundred and tenth candidate, Ken Summers. Rich Rossway has also gained support by the NRA and Senator Tom Casperson.
“They know Sara’s going to work for the people down there and I can’t wait. I really want to work with her when I get down there in 2018 and we can be a team that works and represents the Western U.P,” said Ken Summers, Candidate for the 110th election.
“Sara is a great candidate and she sort of brings that positive, affirmative spirit to politics which is something we really need and its energizing people,” commented Congressman Dan Kildee.
“I am excited to support Rich and looking forward to the election. We’re going to work hard to the finish line and my hope is that you too will join me in voting for Rich and that we get this thing done,” announced Senator Tom Casperson.
With only a few days left until elections the public is being encouraged to vote on Tuesday. Candidates are both working to garner support and talk about the issues as well as show they are all about working for the people.
