KBIC Public Works Cleans Up Illegal Dumping Site
Keweenaw Bay Indian Community’s Public Works department has cleaned up an illegal dump on Bayshore Drive. KBIC natural resources and Tribal police were aware of the site and investigating the location. Arrangements were being made to have the responsible party clean up the refuse. The KBIC Natural Resources thanks the public works department for taking it upon themselves to clean up the location. KBIC Natural Resources reminds the area to please contact the department if you find an illegal dumping site. Tribal members should use the kBIC Solid waste facility.
