Former Upper Peninsula Priest Sentenced For Second Time
LANSING, Mich – A former Upper Peninsula priest has been sentenced in a sex abuse case.
Gary Jacobs was sentenced to between eight and 15 years for one count of second degree CSC on Tuesday.
Attorney General Dana Nessel announced a plea agreement with Jacobs on charges in Ontonagon and Dickinson counties.
Jacobs pleaded guilty on three counts of first degree CSC and one count of second degree CSC.
Jacobs will be added to the life time sex offender registration and tier II registration.
Sex offender counseling and lifetime monitoring are also part of Jacob’s sentence.
